This is the Correctional Center in Kyle that is contracted to serve male substance abuse offenders as they make the transition back into society. When I pass this, many times I think of a funny song that a now-defunct Austin band named Loblolly used to sing called "Goin' To Jail."
Goin' to jail to visit dad.
Sittin' in prison and it's kind of sad.
Love you papa but there ain't no hope.
Just don't bend over and pick up the soap.
It's a wonder why bands like Deathcab for Cutie make it while gems like Loblolly don't.
