This is Halloween
Woo-Hoo! Happy Halloween. The decorations.. the costumes... the pumpkins... here's a shot of some of Kyle during Halloween... or the events leading up to it...
Some great decorations were all over town.... I saw a lot... but this one had to be my favorite.
Pumpkins from the Lucky Cup Coffee House
Hannah Montana and Sweet Pea (aka my kiddos) @ The Pumpkin Patch 2007
Strawberries and peas..
This is my Halloween costume... it's me in Highschool.
Shaved the gaotee and wore my 'ol KISS jacket. Oh... I borrowed my daughters Hannah Montana wig.
Jarrod the Recycling Bin Man.

Kyle Fair and Music Festival Part 3 - The Carnival
There was a nice little carnival with about 7 or 8 rides and some cool games. I could have lost some money winning my wife a stuffed animal had I brought money with me...
The boat was awesome.
The funhouse looked... well... fun.
This little man learns the ins and outs of the duck game...
That tiger was calling to me...
Round and round they go... where they stop..only the operator of the machine knows.

Kyle Fair and Music Festival, Part 2 - the BBQ Folks
The bonus of taking these photos was... I got to SAMPLE! I had my weight in brisket. It was JAWSOME (jaw-droppingly awesome)
I can't wait until next year... I'll bring my own plate!

Part II
Scarecrows are the name of the game. The 2nd annual Scarecrow building competition was held about a week ago at the Negley Elementary School grounds. I'm happy to say that my "Snowy The Scarecrow" took 2nd place (to the Southwest Airlines traveling scarecrow) in Most Original. Last year my broom-headed scarecrow took first ( I had it in my garage so I took it out and it was included in this year's judging and got honorable mention).
Broom Head (vintage 2006 by me)
Aluminum Foil Man has seen better days.
Ghost-crow
Ready to catch a flight...
Perhaps they should have gone for paper....not plastic.
Get wiggy with it...
The grand prize winner
This kid-crow rocks!
Hope you enjoyed these... I thought they were pretty inventive over-all.
Happy Tuesday.

For Bale's Sake!
Saturday morning.... Yeah. Here's the other cool round bale creations in Plum Creek. Neat.
Today is the second day of the Kyle Fair and Music Festival. I had to work late yesterday so I missed the festivities. I hope to make it for one or two things today...
Here's the schedule of events. Music starts at noon....yeah!

It's A BBQ Thang
This is one of the teams who competed in the First Ever Plum Creek BBQ Contest. I got to sample their stuff... Mmmmmgood.
Bruce Curtis Fallgren (http://cdbaby.com/cd/fallgren) played his classic country covers and originals at the First Ever Plum Creek BBQ Contest. Good times were had by all.
