Rock Hard @ Down South Railhouse

ROCK HARD @ Down South Railhouse 2/5/16

February 5th was my birthday. I went to Down South Railhouse for a great 80s hard rock cover band. They even dedicated a KISS song to me.
Awww....

Had a great time. DSR is a really fun place... and I've never seen a bad band there.. and it's free to enter for 21+.

2015 Concerts For A Cause - First Show

Down South Railhouse is the 2015 home of Concerts For A Cause.

March 14 was the Grand Opening of Down South Railhouse AND the first show of the 2015 season of the Kyle, Texas soon-to-be non-profit, Concerts for a Cause.

Pictured below is Austin singer-songwriter D.C. Bloom playing during the event which raised over $500 for the cause of the month. The cause for the 1st show WAS Concerts For A Cause in order to afford to file the paperwork to become a non-profit.

Bar-B-Que Gone

Railroad BBQ - RIP

They painted over the Big "Bar-B-Que" letters yesterday.... I didn't think I'd be as sad as I was when I saw that building with a fresh coat of paint... but it was a bit sad.

BUT... all things must end and there's a great new beginning in Down South Railhouse.. coming soon to that building. Opening in March 2015.
