This was the last shot I got before my batteries died in my camera. I like it a lot... but the next shot would have been about 10 seconds later when the vulture left the top of this telephone pole... took flight and displayed his enormous wingspan.
This is down at the dead-end of Center Street in Kyle, Texas (the dead-end that doesn't end at the highway)

Serenity in Kyle, Texas.
I took a little scenic drive down Center Street... I followed it West of FM 150 for about a mile. It's the road that you probably wouldn't take unless you knew someone back there.... or were looking for photo ops. Beautiful country back there. I saw this along the way.

Mailboxes... to go?
They're doing some work on the road, so folks that live down this road had to find an inventive way to get their mail. Made me chuckle.

Mailbox - to go.
Ever wonder what happens to mailboxes when the road they are on goes under construction? (This is the road behind Seton Hays Hospital)

Bluebonnet Beauties.
Sisters. Their beauty eclipses the beauty of the Kyle, Texas bluebonnets.
Of course, I'm a little biased, these are my daughters. :)
