Tortilla Soup Label Mishap



Can you spot the error?


I was reading the back label of some Cookwell & Company Tortilla Soup. I THINK this was an error... but I can't be sure. There's something in parenthesis that I think was a note to the editors of the label... and ended up getting printed.

I guess I've been a writer/editor too long... because this made me chuckle... and then take a picture.

.. FYI I agree with the sentiment... sour cream shouldn't be a part of tortilla soup.

Barrel Jumping Lane!

So... they made a bike lane on Spring Branch Road in Kyle. There are signs.. and they spraypainted this on the road (I turned this shot 90-degrees so you can make out the image). I think it's supposed to be a bicyclist... bus as soon as I saw it I decided to call the lane the "It's OK to jump barrels here" lane. If I were that stick figure I'd have gone for two though...

Remember that e-mail spam you got years ago that was a dead armadillo with the yellow road stripe painted over it? Well.. this is the Kyle version... apparently a team of people thought it would be a good idea to build a sidewalk right through where a pipe was sticking up out of the ground... lazy? Inventive? Just plain dumb? I don't know... but I'd have questioned that during the frame-up of the sidewalk... or maybe when the plans called for a sidewalk right where a pipe was supposed to come up...

But that's why I'm a writer and photographer and not a building contractor..
