My wife gives blood.

The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas has a mobile bloodmobile. Our church (The Kyle United Methodist Church) hosts a Blood Drive every couple of months. Yesterday at the Fire Dept. Grand Opening, The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas had the "Blood Mobile" out and was taking donations.

This is "Fireman Mike" as my friend introduced him to my girls yesterday. He gave blood just after I did. I asked if he'd pose for a picture he said OK. Then I told him I was the "Kyle, Daily Photo" guy and he said... "Wait here to get loaded?"

It's always funny/interesting to see what people remember about you or something you've done.

The "Wait here to get loaded" refers to a sign my wife pointed out that I featured back in 2008. Click here to see it.
