Tried to go to Subway in Kyle at lunch today... there was a line out the door... and about as many dead bugs on the floor as people in line... so I left.
Walked right into Firehouse Subs (just across the highway from Subway). It was clean.. the lady at the register was VERY nice... and my meal was pretty darned good. (It takes a lot for a sandwich to impress me... really)
