August 1 was my Grandma Soja's birthday. She passed away in 2006. One of the things she really liked was the Crepe Myrtle, the tree seen here.
Someday I'm going to plant a Crepe Myrtle in her honor in my yard.

Sensitive and very personal both posts. Beautiful tree we just don't get here.
