Hands of God.

Hand

I went to the Kyle Cemetary to see the amazing gravestones. I came across this cement piece of two hands holding a bird. In the hands was birdseed. I thought it said a lot about the area I was standing. What are we if not lending a hand? What are we teaching the next generation if we do not take the time to enjoy our surroundings? What is the point if you can't take pleasure in nature? Isn't all life precious, no matter how small?

Funny how a place that was built to house death brings upon so many life-affirming thoughts.
I hope your Monday is fantastic.

Thanks for the comments lavender llady and kris...

I have a lot of shots from the cemetary... I'm not sure what I'll do with them... perhaps they'll slowly get posted up here... I agree..it's an interesting subject. I drove past 2 other cemetaries to get to the city one... I may have to stop in and visit the other two. There's got to be an interesting story about that as well....

Well said. The photo is lovely, I like the hands as a bird feeder!
